KATRA DHARAMSHALA DALHOUSIE TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01:
Jammu - Katra
Arrival at Jammu Airport or Railway Station and our
representative receive you and transfer to Katra (50kms/1
hr). Check-in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay is at
Katra.
Day 02: Katra
Take refreshing morning breakfast and then trek to Mata
Vaishno Devi Shrine (12kms), for trek ponies can also be
arranged by self. Return back to Katra late in evening,
dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Katra. Mata Vaishno
Devi shrine is one of the sacred Hindu temples dedicated to
Mata Shakti and is the second most visited holy shrine in
India after the famous Tirupati Balaji Temple.
Day 03: Katra - Dharamshala
After having early morning breakfast, drive to Dharamshala.
Check-in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay is in
Dharamshala.
Day 04: Dharamshala
In the morning after breakfast go for the sightseeing of
Mcleodganj. At the beginning of Mcleodganj is a small market
which offers a wide range of Tibetan handicrafts and
artifacts. The Namgyal Monastery lies at the end of spur,
within this are huge idols of Buddha and the charming church
of St. John in the wilderness. Later visit ancient temples
like Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda. Dinner and
Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Dharamshala -
Dalhousie
After Breakfast, drive from Dharamshala to Dalhousie 130 Km
/4 hrs. Dalhousie has splendid forests trails overlooking
panorama of wooded hills, waterfalls, spring and rivulets.
It is one of the most beautiful travel destination of
Himachal that attracts tourist from its utmost tranquility
and salubrious climate Check-in at the Hotel. Dinner and
Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Day 06: Dalhousie
In the morning have Breakfast and continue to explore
Dalhousie. It has charming colonial architecture, including
some beautiful churches. This enchanting town offers
picturesque views of the twists and turns of Ravi river
below Dalhousie, large silver line and magnificient
snow-covered Dhauladhar Mountains. Overnight stay is at
Hotel.
Day 07: Dalhousie
Have early morning breakfast and then proceed for Khajjiar.
Khajjiar reckoned as India 's Switzerland, enveloped by
thick woods, the snow line rests above these forests and in
the core of the glade. Afterward proceed to Chamba stands on
the right bank of the river Ravi and well known for its
superb architecture. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at
hotel.
Day 08: Dalhousie - Pathankot Departure
Have an early morning breakfast, check-out the hotel and
transfer to Pathankot railway station in Delhi.
Tour ends... but sweet memories always remain.
