DHARAMSHALA DALHOUSIE TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01: Delhi - Dharamshala
On Arrival at Delhi Airport / Railway Station, drive to
Dharamshala by road enroute Chandigarh, Mandi, Sundar Nagar.
Dharamshala is situated at heigt of 8000 ft in Kangra
Valley, in the shade of the Dhauladhar mountains. Check in
the Hotel. Enjoy Dinner & Overnight Stay in Hotel.
Day 02: Dharamshala
Take Morning Breakfast and then move for local trip of
Dharamshala visiting Mcleodganj, the abode of Dalai Lama,
the exiled Tibetan Leader. The most famous religious temple
of Lord Buddha in India is here only. In Mcleodganj you
firstly visit the small market which is famous for Tibetan
art crafts and handicrafts bazaar. During 19th Century
Mcleodganj is the last resting place of Lord Elgin, British
Viceroy of India. The vibrant colorful temple and Gompas,
reflects Tibetan culture and catch an eye of the visitors.
The Kangra museum gives an outline of the prosperous past of
the region and the institutes here were established to
preserve the art, cultures and traditions of Tibet. Dinner &
Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Dharamshala - Dalhousie
Take early morning Breakfast & then drive from Dharamshala
to Dalhousie 100 Kms far. Enroute, visit Ancient religious
temples like Jwalamukhi , Chamunda and Brijeshwari lies on
the plains below Dharamshala. Dalhousie built in between
five hills like Kathlog, Patreyn, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun.
It is one of the most beautiful travel destination of
Himachal, it attracts tourist from its utmost tranquility
and pleasant climate. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel in
Dalhousie.
Day 04: Dalhousie
In the morning have a refreshing breakfast & then continue
to visit the local spots of Dalhousie tour. Dalhousie has
charming colonial architecture, including some stunning
churches. This meresmerizing town gives picturesque views of
the twists of Ravi river, large silver line and snow-covered
Dhauladhar mountains. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Dalhousie
Have early morning breakfast & then proceed for Khajjiar &
Chamba Sideseen. Khajjiar is favorite retreats for tourists,
bounded with dense woods, lush meadows, the snow-line rests
above these woods and in the centre of the glade. Later
transfer to Chamba, situated at the altitude of 996 m. This
town is located on the bank of the river Ravi and is widely
known for its outstanding architecture and a base for
numerous excursions. Evening return back to hotel for Dinner
& Overnight Stay.
Day 06: Dalhousie - Delhi
Take Early Morning breakfast & check-out the Hotel. Depart
Dalhousie to Delhi by road, take 10 hours to Reach Delhi.
Depart to Delhi Airport/ Railway Station.
Tour ends... but sweet memories always remain.
